Job summary

RamClean Commercial Cleaning & Janitorial Services is seeking a dependable Full-Time Cleaning Lead in St. Petersburg, FL. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily cleaning operations, guides staff, and ensures RamClean’s standards of cleanliness and safety are met.

The position requires the ability to work Thursdays through Monday, 4:00 pm–12:30 am, with Sundays mandatory. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and background checks will be conducted in line with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in commercial cleaning.
• Experience leading or supervising cleaning teams.
• Familiarity with cleaning machinery and best practices for commercial spaces.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-directed with accountability.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside cleaning staff during the full shift, providing direction and support as needed.
• Assign duties and communicate the scope of work clearly to both first and second shift teams.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and Kaivac machines.
• Supervise cleaning operations, ensuring quality standards, timelines, and safety protocols are followed.
• Be the point person for on-site issues, escalating concerns to management when necessary.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks and respond to unplanned needs or special requests promptly.
• Support special events or additional cleaning needs that arise outside the regular schedule.
• Maintain inventory awareness and report supply needs or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Promote a team-oriented, respectful, and productive work environment.
