Job summary

Savio invites applications for a Child First Mental Health and Developmental Clinician to work with very vulnerable children and families in a home-based setting. The clinician partners with aFamily Support Partner to strengthen caregiver-child relationships and support the child's emotional, language, and cognitive growth using a trauma-informed, dyadic model.

The role emphasizes reflecting on caregiver needs, problem-solving, and understanding the psychodynamic links between parental history

Qualifications

• Minimum: MSW or other Masters in related counseling, psychology or related field.
• DORA registration ability, LCSW, LPC, LMFT or other licensure (Candidacy and NLC also accepted).
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Partner with a Family Support Partner to engage families referred to the Child First home-based intervention.
• Strengthen the caregiver-child relationship to support emotional, language and cognitive growth.
• Use trauma-informed CPP, focusing on primary attachment relationships within the family.
• Provide consultation to teachers in early care and education settings as needed.
