Job summary

Community Partners of South Florida (CPSFL) invites you to join BRIDGES at Lake Worth as a full-time Child Development Specialist. You will lead parent engagement activities, recruit and support families with children aged 0-8, and help improve child well-being in targeted neighborhoods.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field, has at least 3 years of experience, and is bilingual in Spanish or Creole.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish or Creole).
• Flexible in work hours including some evenings and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Introduces and engages parents of children 0-5 to the ASQ3 screening tool and parent/child activities.
• Engages parents of children scoring in Monitoring/Concern areas to participate in 'Raise Me Up' activities.
• Integrates 'Child Development' friendly materials into the BRIDGES Family Resource Center.
• Maintains complete, accurate records within 24 hours and compliant documentation.
• Leads recruitment and enrollment of parents for the Incredible Years program.
