Job summary

5TH HQ in Davie, FL is seeking a Laboratory Technician – Chemistry to perform routine chemical testing in a pharmaceutical manufacturing lab. The ideal candidate has GMP/GLP knowledge, experience with HPLC, and is bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, preparing solutions, operating HPLC, ICP-MS, GC, UV, FT-NIR, maintaining records, and supporting investigations. This role requires a Bachelor's in a science field and 1–3 years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs and safety practices required.
• Familiarity with quality management systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs/GLPs, and safety procedures.
• Prepare volumetric/test solutions and mobile phases.
• Operate lab equipment (HPLC, ICP-MS, GC, UV, FT-NIR).
• Perform titrations and standard laboratory tests.
• Prepare test reports and maintain notebooks/records.
• Maintain documentation per SOPs and cGLP requirements.
• Assist with OOS investigations when required.
• Calibrate and qualify laboratory equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper waste handling.
• Assist chemists and other staff as needed.
• Follow all safety requirements.
