Job summary

Holman Enterprises seeks a seasoned automotive/truck mechanic for a fully remote role in Canada. The candidate must have 5+ years of hands-on experience, a valid 310S or 310T license, and bilingual English/French. Experience in a contact-center setting is an asset.

You will collaborate with internal teams to assess repairs, ensure maintenance is thorough and correctly priced, and pursue cost-saving improvements. Professionalism and adaptability in a remote environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/French required.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in automotive or truck repair.
• Valid mechanic license 310S or 310T preferred (ASE certification a plus).
• Experience in a contact center setting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support grounded in automotive experience.
• Assess necessity, scope, and accuracy of repairs based on standards and experience.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance are performed correctly and priced fairly.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through technical review and documentation of savings.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and achieve performance targets.
• Represent a professional image and maintain accountability in a remote work environment.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support grounded in real‑world automotive mechanical experience.
• Assess the necessity, scope, and accuracy of recommended repairs based on industry standards and hands‑on experience.
• Ensure repair and maintenance work is performed appropriately and priced fairly.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through technical review and, when appropriate, negotiate repairs; document all savings realized.
• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are technically sound and consistently followed.
• Maintain individual performance metrics at or above established goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support grounded in real‑world mechanical experience.
• Contribute positively to team morale and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
• Adapt to operational changes while remaining calm, professional, and solution‑focused under pressure.
• Maintain a professional image, strong work ethic, and accountability in a fully remote environment.

What are we looking for?

• Valid mechanic’s license 310S or 310T.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in automotive or truck repair.
• Bilingual (English/French) required
• 5+ year’s relevant experience in a contact center setting (Asset)
• Post‑Secondary Education (i.e. College diploma, Certificate, or Apprenticeship) (Asset)
• Proficient in MS Office Programs specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (Asset)
• ASE certification or willing to obtain within established timeline set by ARI.
