Job summary

RNR Tire Express in Round Lake Heights, IL is hiring a Tire Technician to oversee the service shop, mount and balance tires, perform wheel installations, and support front-end alignment work. Tire Technician Position Summary

The Tire & Wheel / Alignment Technician (Service Specialist) is responsible for overseeing all activity within our service shop. They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed and maintaining shop inventory, product, tools and equipment.

Requirements / Responsibilities:

• MUST BE WILLING TO WORK EVERY SATURDAY, excluding holidays
• Must be fluent in English
• Ability to mount, balance & install tires & wheels
• Use of tire and balancing machines
• Front end steering and suspension repair
• Alignments
• Meeting shop targets/goals
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude

Additionally:

• Overseeing all activity in the installation shop
• Place product and supply orders
• Check-in delivered merchandise
• Label merchandise with item numbers
• Organize delivered merchandise
• Handle "Return to Vendor" merchandise when necessary
• Identify and properly tag all returned products
• Clean and maintain returned products
• Maintain an organized inventory system
• Control parts spending
• Must be able to lift and organize heavy product

Other Requirements:

• Valid state driver license with a clean driving history
• Pass background check
• Flexible work schedule

Schedule:
