Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Bike Delivery Courier for our Wrigleyville store at 3519 N. Clark St Suite C106-A, Chicago, IL 60657. You will deliver cookies, milk, and ice cream, check orders, and provide friendly customer service in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.

Requirements include a working bicycle, smartphone with data, and being 18+ and eligible to work in the United States. This is a flexible part-time position with growth opportunities and benefits like paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must manage time effectively and stay organized.
• Knowledge of the store’s 1-mile radius is a plus.
• Own a non-motorized bicycle in working order.
• Have a smartphone with data plan.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality before leaving the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to customers safely and promptly.
• Provide quality customer service in person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app and provide accurate status updates.

As a Bike Delivery Courier at our Wrigleyville store located at 3519 N. Clark St Suite C106-A. Chicago, IL 60657, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word “Delivery” a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are.

SOME OUR SWEET DELIVERY DRIVER PERKS:

• Pay rate: $12.62/hr. plus tips - Guarantee rate $17.40/hr.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY COURIER?

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the 1-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
• Must have your own non-motorized bicycle in working order (electronic bikes are not permitted)
• Must have a smartphone with data plan
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
