TechDigital Group in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Scala/Spark specialist to work on Big Data solutions for Banking/Capital Markets.

You will leverage Spark, Scala, Hive/HDFS/HQL and the Hadoop ecosystem on Linux-based platforms, with real-time data processing (Spark Streaming) as a plus. Strong communication and ability to deliver against objectives are essential, with banking domain knowledge a plus.

Formación

• Must have Spark, Scala, Hive/HDFS/HQL and Hadoop.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Linux-based Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Impala, Hive, HBase, etc.).
• Experience with real-time data processing (Spark Streaming) is a plus.

Job Description :

Scala/Spark

• Good Big Data resource with the below Skillset:
  • Spark
  • Scala
  • Hive/HDFS/HQL
• Linux Based Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Impala, Hive, HBase, etc.)
• Experience in Big data technologies , real time data processing platform(Spark Streaming) experience would be an advantage.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• A history of delivering against agreed objectives
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent analytical and process-based skills, i.e. process flow diagrams, business modelling, and functional design
