The role includes preparing inspection reports using ASPEN software, reviewing findings with facility administrators, and guiding the development of Plans of Correction for identified deficiencies. This position also performs fire safety inspections, complaint investigations, and other assigned investigative duties. The surveyor plays an essential role in ensuring safe physical environments within licensed residential and day service settings. Requires extensive statewide travel—typically four days per week with one to two overnight stays—and involves both state‐issued and personal vehicle use depending on availability. Compensated at the Office of Budget Management's established rates.
