In addition to leading the design, development, and management of our analytical tools and reporting, we will also look to this person to provide thought leadership and business analysis support as needed. This particular role will partner closely with our F2 Finance team to build a ‘one-stop shop’ dashboard to provide leadership with increased visibility into their input and output metrics as well as support other reporting requirements through the F2 organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, experience in developing reporting and analytical infrastructures, strong communication skills, an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key job responsibilities

  2. Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions that will help us achieve our strategic goals.
  3. Dive deep to understand frameworks utilized for storing data and different tools and solutions used to gain access to it.
  4. Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
  5. Design and drive experiments to form actionable recommendations. Present to business leaders in both ad-hoc forums and routine business reviews (MBR/QBR) to drive decisions.
  6. Be able to swiftly prioritize and multi-task based on severity level and strong business judgment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of professional or military experience.
  • 5+ years of SQL experience.
  • Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
  • Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
  • Experience with AWS technologies.
  • Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
