Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting profit goals for the yard.
• Support the Yard Manager in identifying opportunities to improve net profit.
• Maintain key relationships with customers.
• Assist with negotiating customer pricing and communicating with new customers.
• Support Credit with overdue accounts receivable.
• Ensure pricing is properly set.
• Reach out to new customers and follow up on sales leads.
• Assist with post-stock audit programs and communicate results to customers.
• Resolve customer complaints related to stocking and product quality.
• Negotiate with vendors and order board and materials in accordance with company purchasing guidelines.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and control yard shrinkage.
• Assist with accurate input and confirmation of sales orders, job information, and related reports.
• Ensure yard staffing levels meet delivery needs.
• Assist with maintenance and equipment protection programs.
• Attend monthly meetings to ensure operational alignment.
• Ensure yard safety procedures are followed
