You will lead BI developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advance BI strategy with a focus on governance, quality, and scalable analytics. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in a BI Analyst/lead role with BI project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric, data lake, semantic modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and model development.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP analytics preferred.

The Business Intelligence Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. This role manages complex BI projects, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and promotes data-driven decision-making across the organization. The position also integrates data from Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and SAP to deliver strategic, actionable insights to stakeholders in key areas such as commercial, supply chain, finance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy: Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts. Define and execute the BI strategy to align with business goals, ensuring data initiatives deliver measurable value.
  
• BI Solution Design & Development: Architect, implement, and manage BI reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring scalable, reliable, and high-performance analytics, and reporting frameworks.
  
• Data Management: Oversee the ingestion, transformation, and storage of data into semantic models within Fabric, integrating data from multiple sources to ensure a unified, accurate, and accessible data layer for analytics and reporting.
  
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and IT teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable data insights. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
  
• Data Governance & Quality: Ensure established data governance standards and processes/practices are followed
  
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging BI technologies, AI/ML advancements, and Microsoft Fabric capabilities. Identify and implement improvements to existing BI tools and processes.
  
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide business leaders with real-time, actionable insights.
  
• Support: Provide support to the business users across various Analytical tools directly or in conjunction with the support team.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related field.
  
• 10+ years experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst role, with a strong track record of managing BI teams and projects.
  
• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including data lake, semantic modeling, and data warehousing capabilities including Dataflow Gen2, data pipelines, etc.
  
• Understanding of data architecture and data integration techniques, including ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
  
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau with the ability to design and develop complex dashboards and reporting solutions.
  
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure Databricks and experience with cloud-based BI and data engineering solutions.
  
• Desired programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and model development.
  
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  
• Exposure to AI/ML tools and frameworks for integrating predictive analytics and machine learning models into BI solutions.
  
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP analytics is preferred.
  
• Strong analytical thinking with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Passionate about continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
