Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data integration and analytics specialist in Illinois to design and develop data integrations, BI data marts, and end-to-end pipelines across RDBMS, MPP, Hadoop, and Azure environments.

You will collaborate with the Enterprise Business Analytics team, support DAS colleagues, and drive data product solutions for stakeholder insights while ensuring high data quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience OR Master’s Degree or 6 years of equivalent experience with data integration platforms.
Minimum 1 year of experience working with SQL.
Minimum 1 year of experience working in Data and Analytics tools and solutions.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence Architecture and technologies.
Experience working with a data architecture team to develop/manage a universal semantic model.
Ability to work with business stakeholders to design and develop data product solutions.
Knowledge and understanding of Hadoop tech stack including HDFS, Hive, HQL, Spark, Scala, PySpark/Python, and Sqoop.
Knowledge and understanding of MPP platforms such as Teradata BTEQ and SQL.
Knowledge and understanding of Azure Cloud Analytics Services including Synapse, ADLS, ADF, and Azure SQL.
Knowledge of DevOps and continuous deployment/integration processes and tools.
Knowledge of enterprise-grade scheduling tools such as Control-M and Zena.
Strong analytical, written, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and prioritize work within tight deadlines.
Healthcare sector experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of SQL, analytics tools, and languages for analyzing large datasets from multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

Design and develop data integrations.
Deliver enterprise BI data marts and BI semantic data layers.
Design and develop end-to-end data integration pipelines across RDBMS, MPP platforms, Hadoop Datalake, and Azure cloud.
Manage multiple projects within the Enterprise Business Analytics & BI team.
Support others within the DAS organization.
Improve data processes, technology infrastructure, and reporting/analytical services.
Work with business stakeholders to develop data product solutions that enable insights.
Gain understanding of available data and promote innovative insights.
Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks.
