DataJobs seeks a BI Engineer / Data Analyst to own the path from raw platform data to stakeholder insights during a GCP to Azure and Snowflake migration.

You will design dashboards in Looker Studio and Power BI, migrate data models with Data Engineering, and perform exploratory analysis across BigQuery and Snowflake. Collaboration across teams and governance practices are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in BI, data analytics, or hybrid analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL in BigQuery / Snowflake with complex queries.
• Hands-on dashboard experience with Looker Studio and/or Power BI.
• Familiarity with dbt for data modeling.
• Experience with pipeline orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow.
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy compliance (OneTrust).
• Experience with CRM/MarTech data sources (Customer.io, Twilio Segment).
• Some data engineering ability (Python, debugging, schema design).
• Excellent communication translating data into business insights.
• Cloud migration experience (GCP, Azure, AWS) is a plus.

APPLY is hiring a BI Engineer / Data Analyst to support the Kraft Heinz DXP Platform team, owning the full path from raw platform data to actionable stakeholder insights during a GCP to Azure and Snowflake migration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports in Looker Studio and Power BI to deliver actionable insights for business and marketing stakeholders.


• Collaborate with Data Engineering to migrate and validate dashboard data models through the GCP to Azure/Snowflake transition, ensuring metric parity and no regression in reporting accuracy.


• Conduct exploratory data analysis across BigQuery and Snowflake to uncover trends, anomalies, and additional opportunities.


• Write and optimize SQL for BigQuery and Snowflake; build and maintain dbt models to support scalable, governed data marts.


• Work with Dagster (or equivalent orchestration) to understand lineage and dependencies well enough to troubleshoot and contribute to data model design.


• Explore and prototype agentic AI and data science solutions, such as LLM-powered analysis, automated insight generation, and predictive/propensity modeling.


• Apply data governance practices daily, including support for privacy and retention deletion workflows using OneTrust and correct handling of PII across CRM/MarTech integrations (e.g., Customer.io, Twilio Segment).


• Own the end-to-end reporting lifecycle: requirements gathering, data modeling, dashboard build, validation, and stakeholder walkthroughs.


• Identify data quality issues and partner with Data Engineering to resolve root causes upstream rather than patch downstream.


• Stay current on BI and analytics tooling and recommend improvements to the reporting stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a hybrid analytics engineering role.


• Strong SQL skills across BigQuery and/or Snowflake, including complex queries, CTEs, and window functions.


• Hands-on dashboard and reporting experience with Looker Studio and/or Power BI.


• Working knowledge of dbt for data modeling and transformation.


• Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools: Dagster preferred; Airflow or similar acceptable.


• Knowledge of data governance and privacy compliance, ideally with experience using OneTrust or similar consent/privacy management tooling.


• Experience working with CRM/MarTech data sources such as Customer.io, Twilio Segment, or comparable CDP/ESP platforms.


• Some hands-on data engineering capability is a strong plus (e.g., Python, pipeline debugging, schema design) to support close partnership with Data Engineering.


• Excellent communication skills to translate findings into business insights for non-technical stakeholders.


• Cloud migration experience (GCP, Azure, or AWS) is a plus.


• Curiosity and an insight-first mindset, including proactive exploration beyond requested dashboard deliverables.
