Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Engineer, Business Intelligence to drive BI strategy and develop dashboards for internal and external users, with a strong focus on data warehouses and SQL proficiency.

This role involves collaborating with operations and product teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions on-site in Union City, GA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, hands-on experience with cloud-native data warehouses (BigQuery/Redshift/Fabric), expertise in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field (minimum).
Hands on experience querying cloud-native data warehouses (BigQuery, RedShift, or Fabric).
Understanding data warehousing concepts including ETL; advanced SQL; ability to validate results for end users.
Experience improving data governance by configuring scopes and permissions; encapsulating logic in UDF, TVF & SPs.
Proven ability to prioritize and deliver multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong proactive communication with stakeholders and quick business thinking.

Responsibilities

Deploy BI solutions, tools or apps for internal and external users.
Gather and analyze business requirements for new products and improve existing tools.
Coordinate development and testing with requestor, analytics, development and product teams; test with Operations stakeholders on-site.
Design, develop, document and deploy high-quality dashboards, reports and analytics tools.
Respond to queries from emails and tickets promptly and professionally.
