We are seeking a highly skilled data visualization specialist to take ownership of our Tableau initiatives. This role involves partnering closely with business teams to understand reporting needs, translating them into meaningful dashboards, and driving best practices in data presentation and performance. The right candidate will be hands‑on with development while also acting as a technical lead and mentor within the analytics function.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced Tableau dashboards with an emphasis on scalability, usability, and performance.
• Oversee the structure, governance, and administration of Tableau environments.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of reporting projects — including requirement discovery, solution design, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business users to translate complex concepts into measurable KPIs and actionable visual insights.
• Establish and maintain visualization standards, style guides, and reusable templates.
• Optimize existing dashboards for efficiency and user adoption.
• Research and apply new Tableau capabilities, recommending improvements to current practices.
• Troubleshoot data and performance issues independently, resolving bottlenecks across workbooks and data sources.
• Provide guidance and training to teammates and end‑users to enable broader self‑service reporting.
• Manage access controls and implement security best practices as needed.
• Support occasional custom reporting requests from stakeholders across the organization.
• Act as a mentor to less‑experienced Tableau developers and analysts.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or analytics‑related field — or equivalent hands‑on expertise.
• 5+ years of experience developing Tableau dashboards, preferably in a lead or senior‑level role.
• Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Proven ability to apply data visualization best practices and communicate insights clearly.
• Hands‑on experience with Tableau features such as parameters, LOD expressions, calculated fields, filters, and interactive components.
• Experience supporting both development and administration of Tableau environments.
• Comfortable working independently as well as guiding project teams.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills.
