Job summary

nVent is seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Intern for a 1-year on-site program in Minneapolis. You will help create, maintain, and validate dashboards supporting decision-making, while learning Power BI, Tableau, Kyubit, SSRS, and Celonis.

You will work with data from manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain domains. You should be pursuing or recently completed a degree in IS/CS/Analytics, with basic Excel skills and a curiosity to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in data, reporting, dashboards, and business systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, or data visualization tools is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help the team create, maintain, and validate reports and dashboards that support business decision-making.
• Support collection, organization, and analysis of data from various business functions.
• Gain hands-on experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Kyubit, SSRS, and Celonis.
