Job summary

Volto Consulting is seeking a Business Intelligence Designer & Developer to join our New York onsite team. You will design and build BI dashboards using Qlik and Tableau, implement Java-based data solutions, and ensure data quality and security across BI workloads.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BI experience, with hands-on BI design and development.
• Strong knowledge of Qlik and Tableau in production environments.
• Proficient in Java or OOP languages and data modeling.
• Experience delivering BI dashboards with attention to data quality and security.
• Ability to work in agile delivery teams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile stakeholders to design and develop BI dashboards.
• Deliver BI dashboards with fast turnaround and reliability.
• Design and develop BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Develop code in Java or other OO language.
• Translate business needs into technical specs for dashboards.
• Optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction and analysis.
• Ensure data quality and security in BI solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Support SIT/UAT testing, defect triage, and business validation.
