Job summary

VanEck is offering a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern position in New York, NY for a 10-week summer program. You will work with the BI Team to automate data workflows, build reports and dashboards, and surface actionable insights from sales and client data.

You'll leverage AI tools and contribute to Salesforce CRM support, with emphasis on data integrity and data-driven decision-making for the sales organization.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in data management and Excel is a plus.
• Exposure to AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Business Intelligence Team in maintaining, managing, and enhancing client data integrity.
• Partner with sales teams to build reports and dashboards (data visualizations).
• Leverage AI tools to streamline reporting, summarize datasets, and prototype analyses.
• Produce analytics that generate actionable insights for sales leadership and team members.
• Research potential enhancements to the Salesforce CRM platform.
• Compile and manage various data sources and inputs for reporting.
• Support the team in responding to sales-related inquiries.
