Job summary

Ignitus Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor in Boulder, CO, to lead the BHT team while continuing hands-on client support in a residential/outpatient setting. This role drives safe, trauma-responsive care and maintains alignment with clinical expectations.

The ideal candidate has prior behavioral health experience, QMAP certification, and strong coaching skills to mentor staff and ensure high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• QMAP Certification required.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or mental health services.
• Ability to coach and mentor staff in a fast-paced treatment environment.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-the-moment client engagement, support, redirection, and crisis response with BHT staff.
• Model trauma-responsive communication, emotional regulation, and healthy boundaries.
• Support daily client routines, safety checks, documentation, transportation, and program activities.
• Build respectful relationships that reinforce client dignity and engagement.
