Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and BMI follow-up; administer oral/nasal/injectable medications.
• Complete lab draws and order prescription refills; understand the process of fills.
• Perform urine drug screens.
• Refer clients to 1-800-Quit-NOW and document referrals.
• Gather all pertinent health and mental health information.
• Input health data into the electronic health record.
• Perform medication reconciliation and support client self-management of medications.
• Promote Sanctuary model commitments: non-violence, emotional intelligence, social learning, open communication, social responsibility, democracy and growth and change.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

commitment to providing services to medically under-served persons. Ability to communicate

effectively both orally and in writing. Able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with fellow employees, clients and the public. Ability to communicate clearly to interact with staff, clients, administration, and the community both in person and on the telephone. Ability to maintain strictest confidentiality guidelines for interactions regarding client information. Ability to interface with client, administration, clinical staff, other support and the general public in a clear, polite and respectful manner at all times. Consulting with other team members about client’s health status. Willing ness to work in different areas of the office [ie; front desk as reception].

Requirements
