U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs invites a physician (psychiatry) to join our VA Medical Center. The position requires a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent, current license, and successful completion of approved residency, with board eligibility or certification.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens; English proficiency is required. Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) with loan repayment up to $200,000; program details determined by VA Education Loan Repayment Services.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required; non-citizens allowed only when qualified citizens cannot be recruited.
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a school approved by VA for the year completed.
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States or DC.
• Residency training approved by VA for core specialty leading to board eligibility.
