Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a skilled BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our privileged access security infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage BeyondTrust solutions to protect critical systems and sensitive data.

You will deploy, configure, and uphold PAM policies, integrate with identity systems, and provide Tier 2/3 support. Relevant certifications and strong communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and 6+ years of experience in PAM/IT security.
• Experience with BeyondTrust PAM solutions (Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access, etc.).
• Strong understanding of privileged access management concepts and security frameworks.
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and identity management systems.
• Familiarity with database administration and network security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BeyondTrust PAM solutions to protect critical systems and sensitive data.
• Configure password vaulting, session recording, and automated password rotation.
• Manage PAM access governance and conduct regular access reviews.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for PAM incidents and optimize configurations.
• Develop and maintain documentation and runbooks for PAM operations.
