Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly bartender to greet guests and provide beverage service in our lounges, restaurants or gaming areas in Vinton, Louisiana. You will receive and interpret beverage orders, relay drink orders to bartenders, and maintain an accurate bank while processing payments.

The ideal candidate is at least 21, has strong customer service skills, can walk for long shifts, can carry trays up to 10 pounds, and is willing to obtain any necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Six (6) months of related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to carry and balance trays weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve beverages to guests in lounges, restaurants, or gaming areas.
• Receive and relay beverage orders to bartenders.
• Carry and balance full trays.
• Circulate at workstation, greet guests, take orders, and deliver beverages.
• Compute charges and accept payments; maintain an accurate bank.
• Provide complimentary beverages per company policy.

• Greet and serve patrons in lounge, restaurant, or gaming areas in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Receive and understand beverage orders; relay drink orders to bartenders.
• Carry and balance full tray of beverages.
• Circulate throughout assigned workstation on a continuous basis, greeting guests in a friendly manner, taking beverage orders, and delivering beverages.
• Compute charges for orders and accept payment for same; maintain an accurate bank at all times.
• Provide complimentary beverages in accordance with company policy.
