Zusammenfassung

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate to accomplish sales, merchandising and distribution goals by assisting the execution of business objectives and company initiatives. The role involves selling, rotating, and merchandising the portfolio across assigned accounts, with possible route relief for Sales Representatives.

You will interact with internal departments, suppliers, and customers, building industry knowledge and maintaining supplier programs.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required; Minimum of 21 years of age.
• 1 year of beverage industry sales experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all assigned accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Establish and maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food journals and market trends.
• Maintain themed programs to meet supplier and company standards.
• Submit required reporting, preplans, trackers and surveys by due date.
• Manage inventory expenses per company policy.
• Monitor MVP standards and competitive activity.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Work indoors with frequent walking in customer accounts.
