Job summary

Admiral Beverage in Pendleton, Oregon, is hiring a Vending Delivery Driver. You will pick orders, load/unload, and deliver beverages on a routed schedule while maintaining excellent customer relationships and safety standards.

Starting at $17 per hour plus mileage, this day shift role may require weekends and holidays. A valid driver's license is required and you must be able to operate a smartphone and lift up to 70 pounds. Drug screening and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Driving record must meet vehicle policy requirements.
• Must be able to operate a mobile smartphone device.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and regular drug screens.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to deliver beverage products to customers' place of business on highway, rural, and city street conditions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Works without direct supervision to deliver product on established route.
• Effectively communicates issues and customer concerns to supervisor.
• Records sales, buy back, delivery and variance information on daily sales or delivery record.
• Operates computerized inventory and invoicing system.
• Operates hand trucks and electric pallet jacks.
• Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided POS materials.
