Job summary

Campbell's is seeking a QA leader to oversee quality systems, audits, and compliance at a food plant. The role focuses on preventing nonconformances, managing documentation, and leading corrective actions across supplier and production processes.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of QA leadership in a food manufacturing environment, with HACCP/SSOP/GMP knowledge and the ability to drive continuous improvement. Competitive benefits and total rewards apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA leadership experience in a food plant.
• Experience with manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements (HACCP, SSOP, GMP and allergens).
• Ability to manage audits and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• 30% - Manages documentation critical to quality systems, compliance and formulation.
• 30% - Manages internal and external audit/inspection and corrective/preventive action programs.
• 20% - Leads food safety continuous improvement efforts.
• 15% - Supports other initiatives in operations (Safety, TPM, Diversity/Inclusion, Engagement).
• 5% - Leads commercialization process for new products/product formulations.
• Investigates in-plant quality incidents (foreign material, nonconforming product).
• Oversees quality aspects of special batches and new product launches.
• Execute plant-scheduled and Corporate-initiated exercises including requests for mock recalls.
• Handle product handling and storage issues (including those at 3rd party warehouses).

How you will make history here...

Maintains and monitors quality systems to ensure compliance with FDA regulatory requirements. Works directly with packaging and ingredient suppliers to prevent/manage non-conformance issues. Provides consultation and training in areas such as HACCP, SSOP, GMP and allergens. Manages the plant's internal audit/inspection processes and corrective/preventive action program. Oversees ingredient, packaging,and finished product traceability and mock recall programs. Manages the product and environmental microbiological testing program, investigates plant non-conforming product incidents and customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis and leading corrective action efforts. Leads the commercialization process for new products. Develops strategic applications for the plant data collection system.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$103,200-$141,900 Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
