The role leads a maintenance team across three shifts, driving safety, reliability, and continuous improvement while balancing immediate repairs with long-term equipment performance.

You will coordinate breakdown responses, plan preventive maintenance, and mentor technicians in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting as part of a collaborative plant leadership team.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years in industrial maintenance or similar roles.
• Two years of college or technical school education beyond high school.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance technicians, set daily priorities, ensure safe work completion.
• Coordinate breakdown response while keeping preventive maintenance on schedule.
• Review production needs and technician hours to organize coverage.
• Troubleshoot recurring equipment issues and lead corrective actions.
• Coach technicians in troubleshooting, safe work practices, and equipment care.
• Use work orders and data to track progress and identify improvements.
• Partner with production and quality teams to support food safety and reliable operations.
• Coordinate external service providers and small improvement projects.
• Monitor expenses and manage spare parts inventory.
• Build a team culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
