Jobtailor is seeking a Beverage Service Supervisor to manage the beverage team and operations during assigned shifts in a high-volume environment in New York. You will lead by example, train staff, and ensure guest satisfaction through flawless service and adherence to standards.

The role requires supervisory experience in beverage operations, strong budgeting knowledge, and proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office. Certifications such as ServSafe and TIPS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 19+ years.
• Associate degree or equivalent related experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years in food and beverage management.
• At least 1 year in supervision in high-volume beverage/gaming operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong POS operational and programming experience.
• Knowledge of health, hotel, or food service regulations.
• Proficient in operational financial management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the beverage service team and operations during an assigned shift.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through staff training and lead-by-example management.
• Provide tools, training, communication, and supplies for exemplary guest service.
• Assist with scheduling Beverage team members for regular hours and events.
• Monitor par levels and daily supply inventory.
• Maintain beverage inventory and supplies according to business demands.
• Participate in weekly inventory and assist with weekly/monthly orders.
• Ensure payment/comp for food and beverage items.
• Assist staff with cash register balancing and report discrepancies to Finance.
• Ensure prompt, friendly service and beverage preparation.
• Authorize comp transactions.
• Develop drink specials and promotions.
• Stay current with beverage service trends.
• Attend trainings and ensure compliance with required certifications.
