Job summary

Brown Distributing Company is seeking a motivated Merchandiser to join the Merchandising team. The role involves stocking, display setup, and inventory replenishment across assigned grocery accounts in Virginia.

A valid VA Real ID, reliable transportation, and a willingness to work early mornings are required. Compensation includes $20.00/hour base plus Pay for Performance up to an additional $400/month, plus vehicle and cell phone allowances.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Real ID Virginia driver's license with no negative points and no DUI convictions in the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more repetitively as stocking is a primary responsibility.
• Own transportation to drive between grocery stores and accounts.
• Flexible schedule with start time no later than 6 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with store management and customers.
• Replenish inventory in coolers, on end caps, and displays to maintain product presence.
• Keep product freshness and rotate stock according to guidelines.
• Assist sales reps with POS materials and display building.
• Set up and maintain product displays to company visual standards.
• Ensure displays and products are in good condition and organized.
• Follow safety rules and report any issues immediately to leads.
• Communicate daily with merchandising leads on route changes and notes.
