Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast is seeking a Merchandiser to ensure Coca-Cola beverages are available, visible and promoted across retail stores in the territory. You will stock beverage sections, displays, coolers and backrooms, and maintain product levels to support sales and brand presence.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years in grocery/retail or related fields, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to repetitively lift, push and pull up to 40-55 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans to optimize product placement, displays and availability in retail stores.
• Maintain product on racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; identify replenishment needs.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment.
• Implement promotional activities and signage to drive sales.
• Maintain clean product space and secure damaged or defective product.
• Maintain accurate product counts and organize backstock in backrooms.
• Operate pallet jack or hand-truck to move products.
• Develop relationships with store managers and staff to maximize opportunities and provide good service.
• Write and place customer orders on an ad hoc basis as needed.
