Job summary

Primo Brands Corporation seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead a large bottling and distribution facility in Dallas, TX. You will mentor frontline leaders, drive cross-functional improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and efficient production aligned with TPM/Six Sigma practices.

The role reports to the Factory Manager and includes overseeing staffing, budget adherence, and major projects such as new product launches and equipment upgrades. Travel ~10% within the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • Ten or more years of production experience in manufacturing, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to develop successful leaders.
  • Experience in consumer products or food & beverage industry preferred, with knowledge of quality and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team in a large bottling and distribution facility.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop leaders; assess and plan to grow frontline skills.
  • Partner with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse to maximize efficiency and output.
  • Lead cultural changes and pursuit of manufacturing excellence.
  • Instill safety as a core value for all associates.
  • Monitor downtime and minimize downtime while optimizing DH usage.
  • Manage factory staffing to meet full capacity and budget targets.
  • Ensure quality goals and preventive maintenance on production lines.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and HR policies including GMPs and Food Safety.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in projects like workforce planning, budgeting, new product launches, equipment upgrades.
  • Engage in audit activities for internal and external standards including FSSC.

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager reporting to the Factory Manager.

Pay Range: $132,348.00 to $161,594.00 This role is eligible for an annual bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team in a large bottling and distribution facility
  • Coach, mentor, and develop leaders; assess and create plans to grow the skills and competencies of frontline employees to meet current and future business requirements.
  • Partner cross-functional with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to maximize efficiency and output of high-quality products in a safe manner.
  • Lead the execution of cultural changes and the pursuit of excellence in manufacturing.
  • Instill the value of safety among all associates within the manufacturing facility.
  • Monitor and track planned DH (downtime) hours, and partner with Quality and Maintenance to minimize downtime while maximizing the strategic use of DH.
  • Manage factory staffing to ensure operation at full capacity and the attainment of variable labor budgets.
  • Ensure quality goals are met and preventive maintenance is completed on production lines.
  • Ensure complete compliance with prescribed Safety, Quality, and HR policies, including GMPs and Food Safety requirements.
  • Facilitate the use of continuous improvement methodologies and root cause analysis to improve and streamline production processes.
  • Participate in projects, including workforce planning, budgeting, new product launches, and equipment installations or upgrades.
  • Participate in audit activities and ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including FSSC.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Ten or more years of production experience within manufacturing, with five or more years of experience in a team leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to develop successful leaders.
  • Prior experience in the consumer products or food and beverage industry, with familiarity with quality and hygiene regulations, is desired.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to TPM, Six Sigma, and various problem-solving methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of production processes, preventive maintenance, and budget management.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, business management software (SAP preferred), and production monitoring systems.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading, training, motivating, coaching, and developing individuals and teams in a manner consistent with our culture.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner internally and externally to achieve results.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives on tight deadlines and delegate accordingly.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to influence change and encourage action.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities, with the ability to coach and mentor others in this capacity.
  • Ability and willingness to respond to after-hours critical issues.
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. occasionally (~10%) for meetings.
