Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support quality assurance of finished beverages and water treatment, calibrate lab instruments, and input results in our data system.

You will perform tests to ensure product quality, maintain calibration records, and help investigate deviations in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment; a high school diploma and up to 12 months of experience are typical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to 12 months of work experience.
• Knowledge of lab practices preferred.
• Basic microbial knowledge and aseptic techniques.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests to ensure product and package quality meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Creates holds on raw materials and conducts investigations with follow-up.
• Maintains and calibrates lab equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Maintains testing and calibration records and inputs data into Altizon.
• Performs water treatment quality tests according to quality specs and regulations.
• Creates quality holds on finished products for containment and investigation when tests fail.
