POM Wonderful is seeking a Seasonal Beverage Extraction Supervisor for the 1st shift to lead daily production in a fast-paced facility in California. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with flexibility to work weekends and peak-season shifts. Compensation includes a base salary of $75,000 with final terms based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in production or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of lean principles (5S or similar) is a plus.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak shifts.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Seasonal Non-Exempt Hourly Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily production activities in a high-paced manufacturing environment during peak season. This role provides direct leadership to production teams, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and team engagement targets are consistently met. The supervisor works cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to meet operational goals while fostering a positive and safe work culture.

Compensation - $75,000.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.

• Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to achieve shift targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Directly oversee, coach, and support production employees, providing feedback, training, and performance guidance.
• Maintain and enforce safety policies, conducting regular safety checks and engaging employees in safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive efficiency by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements.
• Communicate clearly during shift handoffs, meetings, and daily production updates.
• Partner with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Support seasonal staffing needs including onboarding, training, and team integration.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented environment aligned with company values.
• Performs other duties over different shifts as required

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, or similar process improvement methodologies a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during peak season.
