Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Beverage Equipment Shop Tech for the 6am–4:30pm shift to repair and test vending, coolers, fountains, and refrigeration equipment for end-users, depots, and customers.

The role involves diagnosing, repairing, painting, and evaluating equipment, ensuring parts are tracked, and maintaining a clean work area. Qualifications include a high school diploma and 3+ years as a technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ technician experience in related field.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Willingness to work the hours necessary for the job.
• Meet PBV driving guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Repair and test vending, cooler, fountain, and refrigeration equipment in-house.
• Use current and used equipment to meet customer requirements and ship to locations within PBV.
• Diagnose, repair, paint, and evaluate equipment quality.
• Close out work notifications on the day of completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and restock parts.

Beverage Equipment Shop Tech – Role Overview

Responsible for the in‑house repair and testing of all vending, coolers, fountain, and refrigeration equipment to be delivered to the end‑user, depots, and customers. Tests, decals, washes, preps, and prepares all incoming and outgoing equipment for use in the market. Uses new and used equipment to meet customer specific requirements and ship to all locations within PBV.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of the Beverage Equipment Shop Support & Beverage Shop Technician B. Repairs equipment to “like new” condition for deployment back to customer.
• Diagnoses, repairs, paints and evaluates the condition of equipment.
• Accounts for parts used through proper use of company handheld equipment.
• Closes out all work notifications the same day work is completed.
• Keeps work area clean and organized daily, including restocking of parts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a technician in a related field.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to manage workload independently.
• Meet PBV driving guidelines.
• Willing to work the hours necessary to perform the job.
