Job summary

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is seeking a Beverage Cocktail Server for a part-time role. Starting rate is $5 an hour plus tips, with variable hours. You will report to the Beverage Shift Manager and provide drink service in the outlet/bar, ensuring guests are served and that all alcohol procedures are followed.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, inputting into POS, replenishing beverages, delivering drinks, and maintaining cleanliness and age verification throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain ABLE Certification.
• Read, write and understand simple instructions.
• 1–3 months of education/experience or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain promotions.
• Take orders and recite selection of all call and premium brands.
• Input orders into POS system to inform bartender an order was placed.
• Replenish beverages and check back with guests for satisfaction.
• Deliver beverages to patrons and process payments.
• Maintain setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift.
• Maintain guest areas by clearing glasses and cleaning ashtrays.
• Check IDs to confirm alcohol purchase eligibility.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for providing drink service in the outlet/bar while ensuring guests are served and ensuring all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. You will report to the Beverage Shift Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Can obtain/maintain ABLE Certification
• Read write and understand simple instructions
• 1-3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience
• Requires basic math skills

Primary Tasks:

1. You will greet guests and explain all special promotions.

2. Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested; requires memorization of all available drinks.

3. Input orders into point-of-sale system to inform bartender an order was placed.

4. Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with Guest to inquire about satisfaction.

5. You will deliver beverage to patrons while ensuring payment.

6. Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift.

7. Maintain cleanliness of Guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtray.

8. Confirm age compliance by checking the identification of any individual ordering alcoholic beverages.

9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned
