Job summary

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Beverage Cocktail Server to provide attentive drink service in the outlet/bar, ensuring guests are served safely and procedures for alcohol dispensing are followed.

The role reports to the Beverage Shift Manager and requires ABLE certification, basic math, and the ability to memorize a wide range of call and premium drinks while maintaining a clean, inviting bar area and accurate order entry via POS.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain and maintain ABLE Certification.
• Read, write and understand simple instructions.
• 1–3 months of education/experience.
• Requires basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain promotions.
• Take orders and memorize drink selections.
• Input orders into POS to notify bartender.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Deliver beverages and process payments.
• Maintain clean service station before, during, and after shift.
• Keep guest areas clean and dispose of empties.
• Verify age for alcoholic beverages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Part-Time | Starting rate is $5 an hour plus tips | Variable Hours

Job Purpose or Objective(s):

Responsible for providing drink service in the outlet/bar while ensuring guests are served and ensuring all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. You will report to the Beverage Shift Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Can obtain/maintain ABLE Certification
• Read write and understand simple instructions
• 1-3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience
• Requires basic math skills

Primary Tasks:

1. You will greet guests and explain all special promotions.
2. Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested; requires memorization of all available drinks.
3. Input orders into point-of-sale system to inform bartender an order was placed.
4. Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with Guest to inquire about satisfaction.
5. You will deliver beverage to patrons while ensuring payment.
6. Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift.
7. Maintain cleanliness of Guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtray.
8. Confirm age compliance by checking the identification of any individual ordering alcoholic beverages.
9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned
