Job summary

Channahon Park District is seeking a friendly service-oriented team member for dining room and beverage operations at the golf course. You will greet patrons, restock coolers, and keep the area clean, supporting a smooth, welcoming guest experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, availability for evenings/weekends, and a valid Illinois driver’s license; prior waiter/waitress experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma. Prior waiter/waitress experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 21 with a valid driver’s license to serve alcohol in Illinois.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive community image for the District.
• Greet and attend to patrons in a timely and courteous manner.
• Manage and re-stock coolers as needed.
• Clean coffee pots and dining room as needed.
• Keep server area clean and neat.
• Bus tables when needed.
• Assist beverage cart person with stocking and re-stocking of cart.
• Rings in moneys for beverage cart personnel.
• Dress appropriately and neatly in uniform.
