Job summary

City of Allen is hiring a Food & Beverage Attendant for golf course and Allen Event Center. You will greet patrons, take orders, prepare and sell food and drinks, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include handling cash, operating POS, stocking supplies, and assisting with opening/closing procedures. Must obtain TABC and Food Handler certifications within 30 days and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. No prior experience required.
• TABC Certification required; Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Clear criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons, provide facility information, and prepare and sell food and beverage products.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in public food and beverage areas; ensure sanitation in food prep areas.
• Process transactions using a POS register and credit card machine; record sales and collect payments.
• Maintain and organize inventory; replenish stock at on-site facilities and fulfill paperwork.
• Set up and close beverage areas by stocking liquor, tapping kegs, and securing the area.
• Assist in opening/closing facilities; reconcile cash levels and complete daily transaction records.
