Job summary

BestDrive, a Continental subsidiary, is hiring Service Technicians at levels I–IV to service tires for commercial fleets and vehicles. The role offers a sign-on bonus, robust training, and clear advancement opportunities with a strong safety culture.

You will perform mounting, balancing, roadside responses, and inspections while maintaining high customer service standards and complying with DOT/OSHA guidelines. Training leads to progression within the technician career path.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to operate service vehicles.
• Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn tire service.
• Experience in tire service, automotive, diesel, fleet, or related fields preferred.
• Strong safety, customer service focus, and reliability.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, repairs, and replacements.
• Service commercial truck, fleet, and passenger vehicle tires.
• Respond to roadside service calls and customer emergencies.
• Conduct inspections and identify tire-related maintenance needs.

Additional Information

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work hours are generally 7-5 Monday – Friday. Saturday and evenings as needed; may have little to no advance notice.
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be followed.
• This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, climb, lift, and walk.
• Required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, etc.). Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Required to lift 75-100 lbs. routinely; may be required to occasionally lift up to 150 lbs. individually.
