BERT OGDEN HARLINGEN KIA SERVICE is seeking a Lube Technician to perform express lube duties, oil & filter changes, and lubrication on vehicle joints. The role emphasizes adhering to lube guidelines and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.

Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid Texas driver license, and pass drug screening and background checks. This is a full-time on-site position in Harlingen, TX, with duties including reporting repairs and maintaining CSI.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver License.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to express lube guidelines.
• Performs lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints.
• Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor.
• Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle.
• Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed
• Checks coolant level and refills as necessary.
• Ensures that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
• Checks fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the Company's Core Values
• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles.
