Job summary

AKG North America is seeking an HR Generalist — Benefits, Wellness & Leave Management Specialist to support benefits administration, wellness initiatives, and leave management across NC and SD locations. This role partners with payroll, vendors, and HR leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and positive employee experience.

The position reports to the on-site HR Manager with a matrix relationship to Benefits & Wellness leadership, and requires collaboration across multiple departments to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Benefits Administration & Employee Support: administer company-sponsored benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries.
• Billing and enrollment: process invoices, enrollments, life events, updates accurately and timely.
• HRIS maintenance: keep benefit records up-to-date in HRIS and vendor systems.
• Communication: prepare benefits documentation and educate employees on programs.
• Open Enrollment support: assist with communications, testing, enrollments, and meetings.
• Leave Management: administer FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other statutory leaves; coordinate with third-party administrators.
