Job summary

Lantern is seeking a detail-oriented Total Rewards Manager in Dallas, TX to oversee benefits administration, leave policies, compensation analysis and bonus programs. This in-person role with optional 1-day WFH after training focuses on competitive, compliant rewards that attract and retain top talent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field; CEBS/CCP a plus.
  • 3+ years in benefits administration and compensation analysis.
  • Strong HR compliance knowledge and benefits regulations.
  • Excellent Excel and HRIS proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness, and leave.
  • Serve as primary contact for employees and vendors on benefits questions and enrollments.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and salary/job structure maintenance.
  • Support annual compensation and bonus cycles with data prep and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Collaborate with People, Finance, and Payroll to execute rewards programs.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards on total rewards metrics.
  • Assist in design and continuous improvement of total rewards programs.

Total Rewards Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented Total Rewards Manager to manage all aspects of benefits administration, leave administration, compensation analysis, and bonus program administration. This role will play a key part in ensuring competitive, compliant, and well-communicated total rewards offerings that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Location

Dallas, TX - In person position. Flexibility for 1-day WFH per week after training.

Primary responsibilities include
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans, wellness programs, and leave policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and vendors regarding benefits questions, enrollments, and issue resolution.
  • Act as point of contact for employee leaves
  • Conduct regular compensation analyses, including market benchmarking, internal pay equity reviews, and salary and job structure maintenance.
  • Support annual compensation and bonus cycles, including data preparation, calculations, and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws related to compensation and benefits.
  • Collaborate with People, Finance, and Payroll teams to ensure seamless execution of rewards programs.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of total rewards programs to support company goals.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor total rewards metrics and provide insights to leadership.
  • Perform other People Team responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CEBS, CCP) a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration and compensation analysis, preferably in a mid-sized and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, compensation practices, and benefits regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly to employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation

FLSA Status: Exempt

Budget: $125k base-$175k base + 15% bonus (depends on location/level/relevant experience)
