Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a client-focused professional to manage a book of small employee benefits accounts. You will serve as the day-to-day contact for clients and act as the liaison between clients and insurance carriers.

You will provide technical expertise on ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s and Health Care Reform, support renewals, and help clients analyze carrier quotes to recommend optimal solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in employee benefits industry or related marketplace.
• College degree preferred.
• Must hold or be willing to earn life and disability insurance license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.
• Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned small employee benefits accounts.
• Manage renewal process and communicate final placement details to insurers and clients.
• Provide insurance technical expertise and educate on ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s and Health Care Reform.
• Coordinate and manage client communications via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Introduce clients to USI Benefit Resource Center and other value-add services.
