Job summary

Rightway is seeking a Benefits Specialist to support the Navigation Team in launching and supporting new and renewing customers. The role collaborates with Operations Enablement, Navigation Delivery leadership, Customer Success and Implementation to ensure smooth customer journeys and external communications as needed.

You will source, analyze and maintain information for Health Guides; audit data for accuracy; manage CMS and member-facing tools; work with internal partners to prioritize

Responsibilities

  • Maintain CMS and member-facing benefits tools for small to mid-sized clients.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to set navigational priorities.
  • Answer benefit questions and explain options, deductibles, coinsurance, and OOP max.
  • Sourcing high-quality care providers during peak periods based on member needs.

Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Benefits Specialist role, under the direction of the Manager of Operations Enablement, and in close collaboration with the Navigation Delivery leadership, Customer Success and Implementation teams, is responsible to ensure that our Navigation Team is best equipped to launch and support new and renewing customers. The role may also require external member and client communication responsibilities as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Source, analyze and maintain up to date information in order for our Health Guides to best support our members with benefit options and available programs and services.
  • Conduct quality audits and maintain accountability for accuracy
  • Maintenance of our content management system as well as the member-facing benefits tools, primarily focused on small group and mid-sized clients.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to assess priorities for navigating benefit ecosystem.
  • Answers benefit questions; ensures members understand their options and shared financial responsibility, e.g. deductibles, coinsurance, and out of pocket maximum
  • During peak periods, supports the navigation team by sourcing high-quality care providers based on a member’s needs and preferences
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Demonstrates in-depth understanding of healthcare benefits, i.e. medical, pharmacy, dental, vision.
  • Demonstrates ability to synthesize benefit information, healthcare jargon, and communicate in plain language.
  • Analytic skills set required, i.e. research and analyze information related to the client’s benefit offerings and ecosystem.
  • Impeccable communication, both verbal and written, skills.
  • Proficient technological ability / literacy, i.e., computer literacy, content management system experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel, Word, GoogleDocs/sheets, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Goal oriented and ability to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business demands.
  • Ability to multitask and manage more than one project at a time.
  • Continuous process improvement mindset and desire to enable NavOps to scale.
  • Ability to translate complex competencies into common speak.
  • Ability to organize work and documents that may come from disparate sources.
  • Clearly organize information in a logical flow.
COMPENSATION: $21.15 - $26.44 hourly.

Compensation offered will be determined by geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
