Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Benefits Consultant to help shape and manage comprehensive benefits programs across assigned territories. You will evaluate offerings, present options, model contributions, and negotiate rates while maintaining state licenses and ensuring compliance.

This role requires 3–5 years of insurance experience, a Bachelor's degree, and an active Life & Health license; strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, on-site

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Benefits Consultant is responsible for helping the Business Consultants in developing the overall benefits strategy - which includes evaluating current offerings, evaluating and presenting proposed options, developing / updating contributions models, finalizing benefits options, and negotiating final rates for all Master Plan Benefits programs. The Benefits Consultant is also responsible for effective and efficient management of their assigned territory, as well as assisting on a national level as needed. The Benefits Consultant is the Benefits expert for their assigned sales region and is required to maintain an active Group Life & Health Insurance License with each of their assigned states. The Benefits Consultant also work outside of their assigned sales region from time to time as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
