Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester OEM division is seeking two 1st shift and one 2nd shift Bench Operators. The positions report to the Production Supervisor and require quick learners with attention to detail and strong analytical/problem solving skills.

Responsibilities include using jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers and height gauges to verify tolerances, perform deburr work, and rework parts as needed. Strong math and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a production/shop position.
• Able to use advanced math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals or percentages.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to follow complex instructions and/or directions.
• Must be able to schedule and organize time effectively to satisfactorily complete assigned tasks.

Barnes Aerospace West Chester OEM division is seeking two 1st shift and one 2nd shift Bench Operators. The ideal candidates should be a quick learners with attention to detail and strong analytical/problem solving skills. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. First shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

• Operate the equipment (jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers, height gauges) associated with determining the dimensions to see the part meets the required tolerances.
