Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a professional responsible for managing the lifecycle of regulated and clinical samples of biotherapeutics across various matrices, to be tested in ligand binding assays using multiple instrument platforms.

The role includes routine and non-routine maintenance of laboratory equipment (e.g., plate washers, plate readers) supporting regulated and clinical studies.

You will assist with quality control of operational procedures and software applications in accordance with departmental SOPs and bioanalytical methods.

Responsibilities also include sample lifecycle management and lab equipment maintenance, governed by departmental SOPs, with an emphasis on attention to detail to ensure accurate execution and documentation in a regulatory compliant manner. Knowledge of GLP/GCP and experience working in a regulated environment are highly desirable.

You will implement processes for managing a sample’s lifecycle, including accession, check-in, and disposal within a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Proficiency in LIMS is required to perform these activities efficiently. Collaboration with external groups to resolve sample discrepancies and assisting in the transmission and formatting of clinical files for data import/export from LIMS are also part of the role.

Routine maintenance of lab instrumentation as per SOPs is expected.

Qualifications include a BSc with at least 1+ year of relevant experience, particularly in sample management, ligand binding assay validation, or sample testing, preferably in a GLP/GCP laboratory.

Industry experience in biotherapeutics, familiarity with LIMS, and instrumentation used in ligand binding assays are required. Skills in GLP/GCP compliant laboratories, including following SOPs and providing regulatory documents, are highly desirable.

Additional Skills

• Hands-on experience with sample management in LIMS and lab equipment supporting ligand binding assays.
• Experience working under GLP/GCP regulations.
• Ability to perform tasks with high quality within challenging timelines.
• Proven ability to deliver quality sample management under tight deadlines.
• Experience handling biohazardous agents (e.g., meningitis, staph aureus, lentivirus, streptococcus pneumoniae).
• Experience with NHP cells or tissues, unscreened blood, human tissue, or human cell lines.
