Job summary

Signet Jewelers invites entry-level and experienced Jewellers to join our Field Design & Service Center Teams in a promote-from-within environment. You may start as an Apprentice Jeweler performing administrative tasks and polishing, then advance toward becoming a Bench Jeweler with on-the-job training.

We offer training programs to develop bench skills, stone setting, sizing, and jewelry repairs, with opportunities across US locations including design centers.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years Bench Jeweler (or relevant) experience in skilled trades working with fine metals.
• Passing a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills & detail orientation.
• Customer service minded individuals with a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time consists of a 40-hour work week with seasonal required overtime.

Responsibilities

• Start as Apprentice Jeweler completing administrative/clerical tasks and polishing jewelry.
• Work toward becoming a Bench Jeweler and advancing within the team.
• Perform stone setting, sizing, polishing and jewelry repair as skills allow.
• Participate in from-beginner-to-artisan training within a promote-from-within culture.
