Job summary

Proclinical seeks a Bench Chemist in Zebulon, NC, on a contract basis, to perform routine analytical testing and support lab operations.

You will handle raw materials, packaging, finished products, and environmental samples using various analytical methods, ensuring data accuracy and cGMP compliance while supporting method development and validation activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in raw material sampling and testing is required.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical GMP standards is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation.
• Proficiency in using analytical instruments and troubleshooting equipment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine analytical testing using approved methods and instrumentation.
• Produce accurate and valid data while meeting productivity expectations.
• Interpret and document test results, notifying supervisors of any deviations.
• Review and evaluate data generated by others.
• Maintain and update laboratory documentation, including SOPs, methods, and specifications.
• Support method development, validation, and transfer processes.
• Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Assist with training laboratory personnel and document training activities.
• Participate in interdepartmental projects as needed.
